I think that the founders of america would be in agreement that in time of terror one has to give up certain freedoms because it helps accomplish the greater good. The greater good being protecting others. Flying is a pleasure, not a right. If I must wait, I wait. If I am shady and the Gov. taps my phone, it’s for the greater good. If I have nothing to hide I am fine, if I am a bad guy, others are saved from harm. The Bill of Rights and the Constitution are not documents that allow us to committ suicide. Thomas Jefferson would want us to be protected as a free society instead of letting bad guys have the same rights as good guys. The only way to find the bad guys are for the good guys to give a little.
